Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Please know this is not my recipe but Betty Crocker’s from 1978 or 1979. I just tweak it a little bit. I just made these cookies for the office this morning!

"I always refrigerate my dough for at least an hour as it makes the cookies a bit higher. Because I like a cakier cookie, I add an extra 1/2 cup of flour to the recipe. Enjoy!"

—Joanne Vasami, executive assistant to Jim Amato and Josette Armendariz-Batiste, Health System Administration
