Growth Curve for COVID-19
As of March 16, 2020, the trajectory of the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S. is very similar to that in Italy and Iran, but approximately 10 days behind.
Unfortunately 10 days is also the approximate delay between infections and reporting (incubation time + diagnostic lag), therefore, it is analogous to watching the outbreak unfold in the rear-view mirror.
