CITI training is required for all researchers working with human subjects data.

The Office of Clinical Research (OCR) will create all new studies in OnCore on behalf of the investigator/study team! 

PROCESS:

1. Go to the OnCore Training website to access and download the Human Subjects New Study Submission Form.
2. Complete the questions in the form.
3. Email the completed form to OnCore@UTMB.edu.
4. OCR will create the study in OnCore and pull it into InfoEd.
5. The Investigator and form submitter will receive an email from OCR with the IRB #.  Login to InfoEd to enter your IRB # in the search field (Top, right corner of screen). Complete your submission for IRB review.

Over the past decade, the number of venues for publishing health professions education (HPE) scholarship has grown. With this increase has come a variety of publication types as well as a number of excellent resources to help scholars write up their work effectively for specific publication types.

In this video, Bridget C. O’Brien, PhD, and Lauren A. Maggio PhD, MS (LIS), introduce viewers to the evolving landscape of publishing in HPE, provide examples of how to think through the available publishing opportunities, and highlight some resources authors can use to prepare their work for submission.
