AMT: Education Week

The objective of Education week is to discuss current evidence-based education methods and practices. Participate in any or all of our sessions.

  • April 7: Leading Educational Innovation Via Disruptive Thinking - Kimberly Skarupski, PhD, MPH
  • April 8: Celebrate UTMB's Scholars in Education Cohort
  • April 9: Learn Ethical Practice & Integrity They Must: Lessons From Yoda On Mentoring Students Undertaking Research - Emma Tumilty, PhD
  • April 10: Innovations In Competency Based Education - Shinu Joy, DNP, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, OCN, & Roy Trahan, PhD, RN, CCRN
  • April 11: Innovations In Clinical and Beside Teaching - Marie Dawlett, MD, Amy Gonzalez, MD, & Melissa Smith-Phillips, MD, PhD

April 7; April 9-11; sessions run 12-1pm daily via TEAMS
April 8 symposium runs from 1-5pm in Levin Hall
