About this facility:

Located at 1306 Market Street, Galveston, Texas 77550.

First floor includes Dining Room and Parlor

Dining Room can accommodate 24 for a seated function at 3 squares of 8 and can accommodate 22 at a large conference style table. If used for stand-up receptions, it can accommodate 125. 

The room is equipped with:

  • House Audio

Parking is available for visitors and guests adjacent to the facility on the corner of 14th and Market Street.

Food/Beverage and Room Set-Up

  • Rooms come with tables and chairs, however, they are not set up. Room setup, food and beverages in all facilities MUST be provided exclusively by the department of Catering  (Policy 2.6.9, Food Services Policy). Click Place a Catering Order or you may contact Catering at (409) 747-6735 or email catering@utmb.edu to discuss menu and pricing. A fee will be assessed by this department.
  • Special requests for items not routinely provided on the UTMB's catering menu may be arranged through Catering office.
  • All orders must be confirmed by two (2) business days prior to the event.
  • Modifications, including confirmation of the number of attendees or cancellations, can be made up to 2 business days before the event. To make changes, click the pink button on your catering confirmation. No changes will be accepted less than two business days in advance.

Alcohol

  • Alcohol services is allowed only after 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, unless if served in a Special Use Facility, when serving can begin at 4 p.m.
  • Alcohol must be served by the Department of Catering and cannot leave the facility.
  • All events serving alcohol on campus must provide an approved Alcohol Service Request form to the Department of Catering prior to the event.
