At UTMB Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), our instructors (Alice Williams and Rhonda Saiz-Vaca) are guiding participants to use evidence-based techniques to better manage their diabetes. Techniques include, but are not limited to, healthy eating, stress management, and physical activity. The program is a 3-hour meeting, once a week for six weeks. The program is a group-based program in which 8-10 people share their knowledge and experiences with each other following the guidance of our instructors.
