Elissa Hall, Ed.D., MA, is the Director, Advanced Digital Education and Assistant Professor, Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Hall is passionate about transforming education and bring 25 years of experience
in teaching, learning science, technology, professional development, and innovation. In her role as Director, Advanced Digital Education she is responsible for (1) developing and implementing a comprehensive, collaborative, cohesive, and coherent
digital education strategy at Mayo Clinic, (2) fostering a human-centric approach to empowering healthcare professionals with the fusion skills and expertise to use novel digital tools effectively and responsibly, and (3) leading an entrepreneurial
interprofessional team eager to be at the forefront of technology and transforming education.
Critical to Dr. Hall's role is fostering and leading external collaborations to advance Mayo Clinic as a learning organization. Dr. Hall serves in leadership roles as the Association of American Medical Colleges, Group on Education Affairs Chair-Elect
and Central Group on Education Affairs Past Chair. Internationally she serves a Co-Course Director for the Harvard Macy Institute Transforming Your Teaching Using Technology program and as an active member to the Mayo Clinic - Karolinska Institute
collaboration.
