Sharif Mohamed MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesia at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He received his medical degree from Cairo University, Egypt, completed his residency at Cairo University, Egypt, completed
a fellowship at Cincinnati Children hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and completed a residency at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Mohamed's interest is anesthesia education. He is the chief editor of the book "Anesthesia OSCE board review". He is on the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists committee for professional development. Dr. Mohamed has received many awards including
the caregiver celebration award from the Cleveland Clinic and the Honor of excellence award from Cairo University. Dr. Mohamed is the Pediatric Anesthesia Clinical Rotation Director and the Department of Anesthesia Journal Club moderator.
Dr. Mohamed was inducted into the Academy of Master Teachers in 2019.
