Anesthesiology
Dr. Teegarden is currently an Assistant Professor, non-tenure track, (and Associate Professor, non-tenure track on September 1, 2020) in the Department of Anesthesiology (SOM). She is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Critical Care physician from
the American Board of Anesthesiology, and holds a testamur status from the National Board of Echocardiography in Critical Care Echocardiography. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a
distinction in research, completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois- Chicago, and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Teegarden was inducted into the Academy of Master Teachers in 2020.
