Anthony W. Linfante, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Dermatology and Dermatopathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and completed residency training in dermatology and fellowship training in dermatopathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He has particular interest in dermoscopy, of which he has presented at national conferences, as well as in complex medical dermatology, for which he is the course director of inpatient dermatology consults and the clinical dermatology elective. He is an active volunteer at the student-run St. Vincent’s clinic where he was the recipient of the Robert E. Beach Award for service to his patients and students.

Dr. Linfante was inducted into the Academy of Master Teachers in 2024.
