Day 91: Did you know? Semantic HTML

You may know that web pages are made using Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). Web browsers like Chrome and Edge, read HTML to create web pages from the code, including the way the text of the page is presented, including color, font, images, etc.  In addition to these capabilities, the standard HTML elements also contain standard elements and structure that the browsers use to create page.  By using HTML in this way, the elements have default characteristics and meaning.  The best way to make an accessible site is to start by using the features built into HTML to their fullest to create a consistent and functional experience for everyone, no matter their access method, browser, etc.
